Purpose

Saint Malachy’s folk choir started back in the early 1980s. Since then the choir have been actively providing liturgical enrichment to services throughout the Catholic calendar.

Choral singing

The choir sing at the 1st and 3rd Saturday night vigil Mass in Saint Malachy’s, Castlewellan.

Join us

The members would encourage any parishioner who enjoys joining in or singing along with so many familiar hymns to come along and join the folk choir, new members of all ages are always very welcome. Should you wish to join the choir you can do so by contacting any of the current members.
